Lavender Mint Julep Mocktail: Derby Days Sip with Southern Charm

Hello there, sweet friend!

If you're looking for a bit of calm before the storm of Derby Day, this Lavender Mint Julep is the dreamy, alcohol free drink you've been searching for!

This refreshing and elegant mocktail is the perfect balance of soothing lavender and crisp mint, which I'd say is just the thing for sipping in your fanciest hat or fascinator.

Ingredients:

  • 6-10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz lavender syrup (I love mine from Little Mount Lavender)
  • Crushed ice
  • Sparkling water
  • Extra mint for garnish

How to Make This Kentucky Derby-Inspired Mocktail:

  • Muddle your fresh mint leaves with lemon juice in a glass.

  • Add 1 oz of lavender syrup and gently stir.

  • Fill the glass to the brim with crushed ice.

  • Top with sparkling water for that fizzy, refreshing finish.

  • Garnish with a sprig of mint and enjoy!

Not only is this mocktail pretty, but it's soooooooo delicious!
