Peach Mint Julep Mocktail: Derby Days Sip

Hi friend!

If there's one thing we know in Kentucky, it's how to do the Derby right, and that includes what's in your glass. This Peach Mint Julep Mocktail is the ultimate pour for sunny spring days or cheering on your favorite horse in style!

It's light, refreshing, and packed with flavor. This spin on the classic julep swaps the bourbon for a non-alcoholic blend that still brings all the Kentucky charm. Even better? Every ingredient is easy to find at Krogerso you'll be mixing like a pro in no time!

Ingredients:

  • 6-10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1.5 oz non-alcoholic whiskey (I used Ritual Zero Proof available at Kroger!)
  • 3/4 oz peach simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • crushed ice (lots of it!)
  • Extra mint for garnish

How to Make This Kentucky Derby-Inspired Mocktail:

  • Smack your mint! Yep, really. Wake up those fragrant oils.

  • Gently muddle the mint leaves in a julep cup or rocks glass.

  • Add the lemon juice and peach simple syrup and stir to combine.

  • Add a big ol' scoop of crushed ice.

  • Pour in your non-alcoholic whiskey and give it a gentle stir.
  • Top with even more crushed ice to create that iconic julep dome.

  • Garnish with a sprig of mint and enjoy!
